EMD will occupy a new building at Mather in the first quarter of 2009. The new building will consist of approximately 40,000 square feet. The building will be located on Armstrong Avenue just east of Bullard Street.

EMD provides countywide regulatory services (enforcement of state law and local ordinance), including but not limited to inspection of businesses that sell (or give away) food at the retail level (including restaurants, grocery stores, mini-markets, food vehicles, etc) as well as businesses that generate and or store hazardous materials/hazardous wastes or have underground storage tanks. Land use issues include; toxic site investigations and clean up, well, private water system and septic tank system inspection.
